Puhala, Jack J. 76, of St. Petersburg, went to his final resting place on Thursday, March 31, 2011. Born in McKeesport, PA, he came here in 1987 from Harrisburg, PA. He graduated from McKeesport High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army, where he served for 18 years. He was a past president of the Polish American Club. He was Catholic and attended St. Jude's Cathedral. Jack was an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed singing karaoke. He was a loving father and grandfather, who cherished his family. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Eleanor Laba Puhala. He is survived by companion, Rita A. Wagner; son, Brian J. Puhala; daughter, Cheryl L. Puhala; grandchildren Marie, Marc, Michael, Brian, Alexaundra, and Max; and 2 great grandchildren Apollo and Kaylee. Jack will also be missed by his former wife Rowene, and many friends.
