Clifford Fochtmann Griggs

Griggs, Clifford Fochtmann, 64, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday January 20, 2002. Born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, he came here in 1993 from Washington, D.C. He was a graduate of Queens College of Rutgers and received his Master?s Degree in Law LLM from George Washington University Law School. He was a Senior Trial Attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice, Environmental Enforcement Division for 12 years. He was an outstanding volunteer in Pinellas County for tutoring math and was a Methodist. Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Catherine M. Griggs, a son, Garrett Griggs of Somerset, New Jersey, a daughter, Elizabeth Griggs of Clark, New Jersey, and his mother, Martha Fochtmann Griggs of St. Petersburg.
