Joseph Peter Felice

Felice, Joseph Peter, 84, of St. Petersburg, died Monday November 28, 2005 at Lexington Health and Rehab. Born in Rochester, NY, he was a winter resident since 1980 and moved here in 1993 from West Branch, NY. He served in the U. S. Army Infantry during WWII in the Pacific theatre. He taught for four years at Barker Central High School and then taught from 1952 until his retirement in 1977 at Lockport Sr. High School in Lockport, NY. He was the primary author of the textbook ?Tune In To Health? which was used by schools across the United States through four revisions. He was a member of Phi Delta Kappa and the New York State Teacher Professional Association. After retiring, Mr. Felice taught a 55 Alive Driver Education Course. Survivors include his wife Martha H.; two sons: Joseph Hollis Felice, Duanesburg, NY; and Mark A. Felice, Oak Island, NC; three daughters: Martha B. Felice, Clearwater, FL; Cynthia A.
