February 15th, 1916 - July 15th, 2006
Bryant, Violet Jeanne, 90, of St. Petersburg, died Saturday July 15, 2006 at Bayfront Medical Center. Born in Champagne, IL, she attended the University of Illinois where she met and married Orris Guy Bryant. They lived in Indian, Michigan and North Carolina before settling in St. Petersburg in 1959. She was a volunteer with the Dali Museum and a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church and its Circle Group. She was predeceased by her husband in 1993 after 60 years of marriage. Survivors include two daughters: Sandra Burns, St. Petersburg, FL and Julie Holtsclaw, Tampa, FL; a son: Fred Bryant, Tallahassee, FL; six grandchildren: Brent Holtsclaw, St. Petersburg, FL; Darrh Bryant, Tallahassee, FL; Shelby Burns, St. Petersburg, FL; Chad Holtsclaw, Tampa, FL; Carrie Thornton, Tallahassee, FL; Chelsea Holtsclaw, Tampa, FL; and one great-granddaughter: Skylar Holtsclaw, St. Petersburg, FL.
