Gilbert Reid Burdge, 82, of St. Petersburg, Florida, died Saturday, July 30, 2005 at the James A. Haley V.A. Hospital in Tampa, Florida. He came here in 1970 from his native Howell Township, NJ and was a Third Mate with the USCG-Merchant Marines serving during WW II. He later was a partner in Burdge & Burns Construction. He was a member of the Loyal Order Of Moose, served in the Peace Corps. and worked with Habitat For Humanity. He enjoyed traveling. He is survived by one son, Bryan C. C.; one brother, Walter of Howell Township; and one granddaughter, Heather Audrey Burdge of St. Petersburg. $(document).ready(function(){ });
