Catherine Mary Eccles, 90, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2012. She was born in Manhattan, New York and moved to St. Petersburg in 1981 from Queens, New York. She was a 1935 graduate of Bishop McDonald Catholic High School in Brooklyn, NY and was a legal secretary. Mrs. Eccles was a board member of Handicapped Young Adults Club and DAV Chapter #21 Ladies Auxiliary and a member of Church of the Transfiguration all in St. Petersburg. She was the loving mother of Maureen A. (Robert) Necci of Bohemia, NY, Kathleen M. Eccles of St. Petersburg, Joseph K. (Faith) Eccles of Port Jefferson Station, NY., Edward P. (Elizabeth) Eccles of St. Petersburg; and the loving grandmother to her 6 grandchildren Jennifer, Joseph, Sean, Kevin, Robert, Catherine and her 9 great grandchildren Emily, Robert, Matthew, Sophia, Victoria, Abigail, Molly, Natalie, and James.
