Otis Greston Gay, Jr., 75, of Pinellas Park, Florida, went home to be with the Lord Monday, August 19, 2013. He was born in Akron, OH and was a 1956 graduate of St. Petersburg High School. He was the Owner of Pinellas County Roofing and Insulation and was an Air Force veteran. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. He is survived by 3 daughters, Tammy L. (Edward) Wehunt, Rhonda R. Burns both of St. Petersburg, Shannon M. Fitzpatrick of Hudson; 1 brother, Kenny Gay of Phoenix, AZ; 3 sisters, Jodella Deese of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Immodine Borgschultz of Atlanta, GA, Nancy Gay of St. Petersburg; 7 grandchildren: James A. Davis, Jr., Brandy M. Lopez, Christine D. Vought, Dwayne P. Fitzpatrick, Dustin E. Moody, Devin M. Moody, Alexander K. Wehunt; and 3 great grandchildren, Halie M. Copas, Aidan E. Vought, and Zander C. Moody. He was predeceased by his wife of 51 years, Carol Jeannette Gay. A memorial service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Liberty Baptist Church with Dr. Jay L. Lowe officiating. Interment will be later at Bay Pines National Cemetery.
