Adela Martinez, 94, of St. Petersburg, Florida died, Friday, October 10, 2008 at her home. She was born in Cuba and moved to St. Petersburg in 1970 from Chicago, Illinois. She was a homemaker and a talented seamstress. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She is survived by her daughter, Adela H. Nicholson of St. Petersburg, Florida; her son, Alberto M. Martinez of Rochester, New York; her sister, Carmen Sanchez of Cuba. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
