Dante John Monda, 49, of Pinellas Park, FL, died Wednesday, June 19, 2002 at Bayfront Medical Center. He came here in 1972 from his native Ashtabula, Ohio where he was a star athlete and state champion in Football, Baseball, and Wrestling while in high school. He was a self employed fence installer and was also a security guard for Weiser Security. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Connie Jean, two sons, Mario and Dominic, one daughter, Alyssa Monda all of Pinellas Park, his father and stepmother, John and June Monda of St. Petersburg, his mother and stepfather, Betty J. and Tim Jones, one brother, Perry all of Palmetto, and his maternal grandmother, Celia Sword of St. Petersburg.
