Raymond P. Schlage, Jr., 72, of St. Petersburg, Florida, died Friday, October 19, 2001 at his residence. He was born in Detroit, Michigan and moved to St. Petersburg in 1980 from Los Angeles, California. He was a pilot with United Airlines and was a member of the Retired Airline Pilots Association, the St. Petersburg Stamp Club, and St. Vincent's Episcopal Church. He is survived by his wife, Rhodell, two sons, Rodger Schlage of Orlando, Florida, Russell Schlage of Ellenton, Florida, one daughter, Sandra Schlage of Honolulu, Hawaii, one brother, Michael Schlage of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, one sister, Mary Lou Spry of Lakeland, Florida, and three grandchildren. The family request memorials to the Hospice Of The Florida Suncoast 300 E.
