Eugene H. "Gene" Scott, 93, of Pinellas Park, FL, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Consulate Health Care Of St. Petersburg, in Seminole, FL.  He was born in Arnold, PA and came here 1963 from Lower Burrell, PA.  He was a  Technician at Honeywell in Clearwater, FL and was a member of Pinellas Park Senior Citizens, was an avid Bowler and bowled in the Suncoast Seniors, Fifty Five Alive, and Honeywell Leagues.  He was an Army veteran of WW II.  He was a member of Fifth Ave. Baptist Church and a member of the Joint Heirs Sunday School Class.  
 
  
 
He is survived by his sons, David E. Scott, Daniel R. Scott of Pinellas Park, FL, Daryl P. Scott of Trinity, FL; his brother,  Michael Skochylas of New Kensington, PA; and his sister, Mildred Rewnicki of Arnold, PA. 
 
  
 
He was predeceased by his wife of 62 years,  Nancy K. Scott.  A memorial service will be 12:30 P.M. Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014 at E. Dale Gunter Funeral Home 4100 - 16th Street North, with Rev. Mickey Burroughs officiating. 
 
  
 
Inurnment will be at Bay Pines National Cemetery.
