Noggle, Jack "the Barber," 82, of St. Petersburg, passed away June 3. At his bedside were his wife Paula, his son, Gary Noggle and Rusty, his daughter-in-law from Ohio. The youngest of 8 children, he is survived by his wife, Paula, his sister 'Cappie" Police, his 3 children, Craig, Gary, and Janelle, 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was a WWII veteran serving on the submarine Seaowl in the South Pacific theater. He was a barber of over 55 years who cut hair at his 4th Street North barbershop for over 30 years before he retired at age 80. He was known simply as 'Jack the Barber." He was a family man devoted to his family. He loved to play golf. An avid sports fan, he was a walking encyclopedia on statistics. He was eager to cast his line into the water to catch the big ones. He volunteered his time and trade to the bedridden, giving patients personal in-hospital service hair care services free of charge. Memorial service will be held Friday, June 6th at 6:00p.m. at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home, 2201 Dr. M.L. King St. N., St. Petersburg, 727-822-2059. Interment will be in his family's plot in Wadsworth, Ohio.
