Palmer, Jane, 89, of St. Petersburg, died Monday August 11, 2008. She came here in 1924 from her native Macon, MS, graduated St. Petersburg High School class of 1937, graduated Stetson University in Deland, FL, after which she went to work for Francis P. Whitehair, Attorney at Law until she retired. She was an avid Ballroom Dancer and won many competitions well into her 80's. She is survived by several nieces and nephews who will miss her.
