Collins, Marion L. 91, of St. Petersburg, passed away Monday, August 18, 2008 at St. Anthony's Hospital. Marion and her husband, Harry, were members of Sunset Country Club where they played golf and socialized with their friends. Marion served as past President of the Psi Iota Xi sorority. NE Presbyterian Church was a very important part of her life where she committed much of her time volunteering. Most of all, Marion enjoyed her frequent trips to the mountains in North Carolina surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Harry W. Collins, Jr.; son, Robert W. Collins and his wife, Judy; daughter, Bonnie J. Collins; granddaughter, Dawn R. Jackson; and great-grandchildren, Alexandra and Tyler Jackson. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, August 22, 2008 at 11 AM at NE Presbyterian Church, 4400-Shore Acres Blvd. NE, St. Petersburg, FL 33703.Memorial donations can be sent to Dementia Caregivers Resources, Inc., 10282 Holiday Lane, Largo, FL 33773.
