Fitzgerald, Minviluz T. "Tabby" 69, of St. Petersburg, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at her home. She came to the United States with her family in 1953 from the Philippines. She attended the University of Portland where she graduated with a B.S. in nursing. She married Malcolm Fitzgerald in 1962, raised a family, and worked as a Registered Nurse for over 40 years. Tabby lived in St. Petersburg with her family since 1975 and worked as an ER nurse at Edward White Hospital until she retired in 1999. Afterward, she practiced reflexology locally and was co-owner of the Reflex Zone. She was a member of the Holy Family Church Rosary Group. She created a loving environment everywhere she went and that legacy lives on. She was preceded in death by her parents, Santiago and Guadalupe; sister, Julie; and brother, Siegfredo. She is survived by her husband, Malcolm; 4 children, Eileen Chuck, Michael, James Karen, and John Kerrie; 7 grandchildren; 3 brothers, Santiago Jr., Tobi and Albert; and 4 sisters, Edna, Myrna, Marie, and Lucy. A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2009 from 1 - 4 pm with a prayer service at 2 pm at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home, 2201 Dr. MLK Jr. St. N. A funeral mass will be on Monday, March 16, 2009 at 10 am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 200-78th Avenue NE with a graveside service on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at 10 am at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 11801-U.S. Hwy 19 North. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Hospice of the Florida Suncoast, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd., Clearwater, FL 33760.
