Donna Lee Eaker, 75, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 24, 2016. She was born to the late Grace (Daly) and David Joseph Hardy in Herkimer, NY and moved to St. Petersburg in 1974. She was retired from the City of St. Pete and Humana Hospital Sun Bay. She was a longtime member of Fifth Avenue Baptist Church where for many years she taught Sunday School, led the puppet ministry, and was involved in many aspects of the Music Ministry. From a very young age she showed a natural passion for music and was fluent with many instruments earning her a place in the Utica Symphony Orchestra. She is survived by her daughters: Melissa Eaker and Lynn Montgomery (Charles), sons: Mark Eaker (Aljin), Dale West (Kim), and Robert Eaker, Grandchildren: Melanie and Kristoffer Lamb, Charles J. and Justin Montgomery, Michael, Caleb, Elijah, Julie, Andrew, Miranda, Amanda, and Ira Eaker, and Rebecca Lones, and six Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased in death by her loving husband Norman, daughter Lori, and son Michael. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 2pm at Fifth Avenue Baptist Church 4901 5th Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33701
