Meghan Elise Kline, 12, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away July 3, 2016 at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital. She attended The ABA Academy in Tampa, FL. Meghan is survived by her parents John & Leanne Kline; sisters Helen & Natalie Kline; grandparents Ken & Doris Patch and Joan Kline; Aunts & Uncles Chris Stephens & Wayne Jarrett, Arthur Kline Jr. & Family, Anne Kline & Family, Jane Kline & Family, Mary Kline & Family, Margery Blake & Family, Joseph Kline & Family, Ruth Kline & Family, and Sara Kline & Family. Meghan is preceded in death by her grandfathers Arthur Kline, Sr. and Albert Stephens. Meghan resided in Ft. Worth, TX for the first 10 years of her life where she could often be seen riding the streets of Ryan Place and Magnolia Avenue in her Pedi Cab with Mom, Mimi or her cousins, and Dad at the helm always steering the way. She taught herself to swim almost before she could walk and was a child of the water forever after. When not with Mom and Dad swinging in the back yard or finger painting on the patio table, she loved spending time with her Nana and Grandpa Ken. Meghan was a bright light and inspiration to everyone who knew her and was loved by all. A visitation/viewing will be held Friday July 8, 2016 from 5:30-7:30pm at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home, 2201 Dr. MLK Street North, St. Petersburg, FL. All are welcome. A private, family funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 9. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Dravet Syndrome Foundation (www.dravetfoundation.org).
