Travis Badgett, 35, of St. Petersburg passed away November 19, 2019. Born and raised in St. Petersburg, Travis is survived by his parents, Dawn Kukulya and Rickey Badgett; his brother, Cameron Badgett; his son, Travis Bentley Badgett Jr.; his grandfather, Roy Vernal; his aunts, uncles, cousins and loyal Australian Shepherd, Tuxley. He is preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Gloria Vernal and Waydene and Alexander Cameron Badgett. Travis was a kind and outgoing individual who loved his family deeply. He was always willing to help others, lending a hand or a strong hug. Travis enjoyed many sports including bowling, baseball, golf, fishing and anything involving the water, his pool and his plants. He loved to read and share his learnings with others. Those who knew him best would describe him as a funny, respectful, fashionable and generous soul; someone who brought a certain spark to others’ lives, fast and lasting. His generous and lively spirit will always be remembered and cherished. Travis’s memorial service will be Sunday, December 1 at the Anderson McQueen Funeral Home in St. Petersburg, with a public viewing beginning at 2pm and service beginning at 4pm with a reception following.
