Mary Lou Duncan, 92 of St. Petersburg passed away on September 30, 2020. She was born on November 25, 1927 in Sebewa, Michigan to the late Winnie Belle (nee’ Snyder) and Don Alger Benschoter. Mary Lou loved the outdoors and often spent much of her free time gardening. She was a talented seamstress and enjoyed sewing and crochet. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church where she also served on the women’s guild. Mary Lou is survived by her loving children, Melissa Davis (Walter), Debbie Fineran, Brad L. Carpenter (Liz), James Norton Duncan (Londa); grandchildren, Walter Davis, III (Jessica), Paul Hayes, Mark Hayes (Jamie), Christina Abele (Kevin), Dale Fineran, Jr. (Megan), Robert Fineran, Christopher B. South, Samantha Carpenter, Stephanie M. Rogers, Bradley L. Carpenter, Jr., Nathaniel Duncan, Coral Duncan; great grandchildren, Hunter Hayes,Tanner,Hunter; nieces, Dianna Sweet, Karen Lafler; nephew, John Benschoter; many extended family members and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Allen Duncan and brothers, Don, Robert and James Benschoter. A gathering will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2020 from 11am until the service at 12pm, Anderson McQueen 2201 Dr. MLK Jr. Street North St. Petersburg, Florida 33704.
