No visitation Raymond F. Combs, 82, a 35 year resident of Union, WA, passed away August 26, 2007. He was born in Watson, Oklahoma on April 25, 1925, to Abraham and Ada (Thomas) Combs. Ray was married to Regina Schmidt on June 24, 1950, she preceded him in death in 2000. He served in the Merchant Marines for 10 years and spent 20 years as a resident of Ballard, WA where he owned and operated the OK Tire Store and also worked for A-1 Mobile Homes and Realty in Kent, WA.Ray loved the water and boating. He could navigate by the stars and also liked to win. He loved his kids and granddaughters with all his heart. He also enjoyed dancing, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and bowling. Ray was a Mason and joined the Catholic Church in 1980. Ray is survived by a son, Ronald F. Combs, Union, WA; a daughter, Linda Paladin, Union, WA; a brother, Tom Combs; sisters, Mildred Clark, Estelle Price and Joyce Smith; and granddaughters Gabrieal and Alexzandra Volpe.
