George Dennis Miller

George Miller, 63, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away on June 28, 2015. He was born on October 20, 1951 in Johnstown, PA and relocated to Charlotte County in 1965. He graduated from Charlotte High School in 1969. George owned his own contracting business in Charlotte County, coached Port Charlotte Little League & Babe Ruth Baseball. He was an avid fisherman, loved his grandkids and spending time with family as well as his dog, Daphany. His most recent adventure was "Charlotte County Storage Wars." George is survived by his wife, Diane; mother, Shirley (Miller) McAfee; sons, Mike (Dale) Miller and Jon (Teresa) Hayse; daughters, Tami (Jason) Horvath and Trina (Mike) Miller/McCabe; brothers, Dave, Ron (Jackie), Mark (Frances); grandchildren, Zack, J.D., Alexis, Abby, Bryce, Cody, Clay, Colton, Jacob and Declan; and numerous nieces and nephews and their families. He was preceded in death by his father, George Miller and grandson, Justice.
