Passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 28th, 2020. He suffered a bleeding stroke 2 weeks prior to his passing. Jerry was preceded in death by his wife Barbara, and son Gary. Jerry is survived by his loving family: Son Bob his wife Debbie, daughter Janet and her husband Dana, and daughter Karla and her husband Ray. Grandchildren: Mike and his wife Rebecca, Samantha and her husband Mike, Jerry and his wife Bridget, Eric, Brian, Matthew, and Mitchell. Great grandchildren: Quinten and his wife Adrianna Lynn, Adrianna, and Millie. Jerry was born to Clarence Ballard and Geraldine Turnbull on July 9th 1930 in Tacoma, Washington. He attended and graduated from Fife High School. Jerry was a very hard-working man who retired from the Burlington Northern Railroad in 1992. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who loved his family very much. Due to the COVID-19 virus there will be a small graveside service Saturday December 5th, 2020 11 AM at the Sumner Cemetery. For those who are unable to attend there will be a place online where you can view and write in the book.
