Lee Richard Bennett
August 17th, 1919 - March 18th, 2021
Lee R. Bennett went to be with his precious Savior on March 18, 2021. Lee was born on a farm in Dodgeville, Wisconsin. He married the love of his life, Anna Kathryn on November 5, 1943, and together they raised two sons and one daughter. The family later moved to Edgewood, Washington.Lee worked at the Western Washington Research and Extension Center until his retirement. Lee was an active member of Bethany Baptist Church in Puyallup, Washington, where he made many treasured friends.The most important thing in Lee’s life was his commitment to love and serve his Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ. Lee is survived by his two sons William E. Bennett of Puyallup and James G. Bennett (Judy) of Penryn, CA; and one daughter Judy Ann Bennett of Edgewood. He is also survived by four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. His beloved wife Anna passed away in 1989. “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”I Thessalonians 5:16-18. Due to Covid restrictions, a private graveside service is planned. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethany Baptist Church.
