Josephine Wiles Miller passed away on September 9, 2020 in Sarasota, Florida. She was born February 5, 1932 to Carl and Evelyn Wiles in Weston, West Virginia. After graduating high school, she began working as a bookkeeper until marrying Don E. Miller. Josephine excelled in being a homemaker and was known to be a superb hostess and cook. She also was gifted with sewing and needlework, specifically cross stitch. She enjoyed playing bridge, was an avid collector of bells, and had an adoration for Viking glass. Josephine was an active member in her community in New Martinsville,WV. She was a member of United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Moundsville Golf and Country Club, Garden Club, and Civic League. She is predeceased by her husband Don E. Miller, great grandson Evan Ryan, sister Sue Rothlisberger, and brother-in-law Herb Rothlisberger. She is survived by her daughter Donna Jo Snyder, granddaughter Emily Christine Ryan, great grandchildren Ella, Madeline, and Paige Ryan, sister-in-laws Gloria Nice and Willa Reynolds, brother-in-law Lloyd Miller, and several nieces and nephews. Josephine will be remembered as a loving and kind mother, grandmother, and great grandmother with a wicked sense of humor. Memorial services will be 11:00 am, October 12th at New Martinsville United Methodist Church, 10 Howard Jeffers Dr. New Martinsville, West Virginia. Interment will follow at Northview Cemetery- Serenity Views, New Martinsville, West Virginia. A dessert reception will be at the Court Restaurant on Main Street.
