Obituary Jean Anglin Farmer Short, 72, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2012 after a long battle with lung disease. She was born December 13, 1939 in Frankfort, Kentucky to the late Daisy Anglin. She was a retired food service worker. She is survived by her daughter, Debra (Don) Feheley; son, Claude (Kathy) Farmer, Jr.; and two special grandchildren, Justin and Ashley Farmer, all of Lexington, Kentucky. She also leaves behind a special adopted son, Joseph Lopez, whom she raised as her own for 17 years; and several brothers and sisters, including Tim, Buddy, Pete and Shirley. Jean's greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and friends. It wasn't enough that she successfully raised one family. Her heart was big enough to embrace others and she helped raise another set of children she affectionately referred to as the "Buzz Saw Gang." Special thanks of appreciation goes to her special friend Vicky Lopez of Lexington, Kentucky, and to the entire staff at Hospice of the Bluegrass, which provided her with love and care during her final moments. Funeral Information A Gathering of Family and Friends is being planned to remember and celebrate Jean's life at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing on Thursday, October 4th from 5-8pm. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, October 5th at 1 pm at Leestown Gospel Church at 980 Wilkinson Blvd in Frankfort, Kentucky.
