Violet Anna Martin, 98, passed from this life on July 4, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence L. Martin, her son, Paul L. Martin, her two brothers, Ralph Frebe and Earl Frebe, and her two sisters, Arvilla Darling and Gladys Sheridan. Violet was blessed to be the mother to five sons and two daughters, along with having 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Violet was born in Providence, RI to Joseph Allen Prickett and Elizabeth Ernst Pricket on November 10, 1919. She attended St. Nathaniel's Episcopal Church in North Port and was a member of the North Port V.F.W. Auxiliary, as well as the D.A.V. Auxiliary. A memorial service will be held for Violet at Farley Funeral Home in North Port on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 3:00 PM.
