Ruth Ann Wallen, 83, widow of Joe Wallen, died Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Diverssicare Nursing Home in Nicholasville. She was born in West Carrollton, Ohio, daughter of the late Everett and Edna Coatney Haines. She is survived by her daughter; Connie {Dane} Poe, Lexington, her four grandchildren; Brian {Ali} Poe, Lexington, Jason {Laura} Poe, Ashburn, Virginia, Nathan Poe and Kip Poe both of Lexington, and her four great grandchildren; Kalen C. Poe, Ella Rae Poe, Maxwell V. Poe and Jackson P. Poe. She was also preceded in death by her son, Jerry David Wallen. No services are scheduled.
