William John (Bill) Cherrington was born in Moline, Illinois on April 24, 1937. He passed away in his home on January 25, 2017. Bill was a patriotic American, lover of Christmas, children, prime rib, bad jokes and Mariner baseball. He proudly served in the US Navy, worked for QFC for 30 years and volunteered for 20 years at the Edmonds Food Bank. He is survived by several generations of family; his wife, a sister and brother, nieces and nephews, 4 children, 3 stepchildren, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren of whom he often lost count! ;Bills signature laugh will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, please make someone smile with a random act of kindness.
