Therese Forest passed away peacefully on July 16, 2014 following a long battle with Myelofirosis (bone marrow disorder) at the age of 88. She was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on February 28, 1926 to Albert J. and Alice L. Lamarre. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Ernest and her two daughters, Dawn of Nokomis, and Laurel Hannaway and her husband T.J. of Venice. She is also survived by Andrew Gobin of Venice; three brothers, Maurice of Pawtucket, RI, Normand of Taunton, MA, and Francis of Port Charlotte; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to express heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Tidewell Hospice for the compassionate care given to Therese. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 1301 Center Rd, Venice, on Tuesday, July 22nd at 10 AM. Interment will be at the Church's Memorial Garden. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice in Therese's name. Service Information Date: Tuesday, July 22, 2014 Time: 10:00 am
