Patricia Marie Coughlin, age 65, of Venice, Florida, passed away on August 15, 2013. She was born on April 26, 1948 in Lincoln, Nebraska to the late Madeline L. (O'Brien) and James P. Jones, Sr. Patricia was a registered nurse with Hospice of the South Shore in Braintree, Massachusetts and retired in 1994. She moved from Cape Cod to Venice in 2001. Patricia was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Venice and loved animals, gardening, being with family and friends and traveling with her beloved husband Dick. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Richard J. Coughlin and his family, numerous nieces and nephews and many loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, James P. Jones, Jr. A memorial mass will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 1301 Center Road, Venice, Florida 34292. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Retreat and Spirituality Center, 3989 South Moon Drive, Venice, Florida 34292.
