Chester John Sadlowski, age 91, of Venice, Florida, passed away on July 14, 2010. He was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey on October 9, 1918. He moved to Venice in 1972 after he retired from the United Auto Workers where he was a Labor Organizer and he also served as Past President of the United Auto Workers. He was a veteran of the Army and served during World War II and member of the Epiphany Cathedral and Past Commander of American Legion Post # 159. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Epiphany Cathedral on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at 10:00AM. Inurnment will be held later at the Epiphany Memorial Gardens. Farley Funeral Home in Venice is handling the arrangements.
