Dustin James Klett passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2010 from injuries sustained while doing what he loved in life – riding his motorcycle. Dustin was born March 19, 1985 in Erie Pennsylvania to his parents Brenda E. Klett and Bryan E. Klett. The family moved to Port Charlotte in 1999 from Brockway, PA. Dustin had many achievements in his 25 years of life. He graduated from High School in 2003 and moved on to the University of Life. He has been employed at Taco Bell in Port Charlotte and worked very hard to achieve the position of General Store Manager. Dustin is preceded in death by his baby sister Sara Marie Klett who passed away in 1986, and his aunt Patricia Hilaire of North Port who passed away in 1999. He is survived by his mother Brenda E. Klett, father Bryan E. Klett, step mother Diana Campos, step father Tim Lowder, all of North Port Florida; grandmothers Phyllis Vargo and Barb Clark and grandfathers Robert Vargo and Roger Clark, all of Erie, PA; sisters Amber Marie Klett of Erie, Briana Lynn Klett, Diana Campos and Esmeralda Campos, all of North Port; brother Scott Klett of North Port, niece Jada Camel of North Port, nephew Lee Camel of North Port, a very close lifetime friend (like a brother) Jake Kauffman of Port Charlotte, FL, and girlfriend Nicole Pennell of Port Charlotte who is expecting his child; several aunts, uncles, cousins, both of Erie, PA and Florida, many, many friends; and his very much loved pet (like a child) pit bull Damian.right.right. Dustin, being a very caring young man, chose to be an organ donor. At the time of his sudden passing he had the opportunity to save many lives by donating his vital organs. He only wanted to help other people throughout his life. He was a very caring, honorable, and respected young man. Dustin always had a smile for you no matter how bad a day he was having.
