Charles Kenneth Burnside, 70, husband of Beverly Burnside, passed away on October 25, 2022 in Lexington. Charles was born in Danville, Kentucky on March 22, 1952 to the late Charles E. and Marilyn Burnside. Charles worked in the building and remodeling industry for many years. Throughout his life he enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, working on cars, and volunteering at local hospitals. Charles was a member of Southland Christian Church where he coached basketball. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his wife, Beverly, he is survived by his daughter, Kim (Nathan) Walter, of Nicholasville; son, Charles Neal Burnside, of Lexington; sisters, Karen (Marlin) Taylor, of Danville, and Donna Burnside, of Lexington; brother-in-law, Rodney Davidson, of Lexington; sister-in-law, Ellie Burnside, of Lexington; grandchildren, Sydney McDonald, of Nicholasville, and Madlynn McDonald, of Georgetown; bonus granddaughter, Brittany Walter; his dear friend and family, Rene and Anna Campos and their children, Jesus, Rene Jr., and Genesis; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Harley. In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his brother, James "Jim" Burnside. Visitation for Charles Burnside will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Clark Legacy Center-Brannon Crossing. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Southland Christian Church.
