Lorna Mae "Nana" Stephenson Kelly Smith Beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend. Lorna Mae Stephenson Kelly Smith "Nana," age 88, passed away peacefully in Edmonds, WA on January 1, 2018. Born May 9, 1929, in Chehalis, WA, to Oscar Adrien Stephenson and Delena Adair McMillion Kindle, she was raised in East Lewis County. Lorna lived in Olympia, Yakima, Winlock, Vancouver, and Mountlake Terrace, Washington. She and her husband Bill owned and operated Greenbrier Colonial Inn during the time they lived in Winlock. Lorna loved God, her family, and her country. She enjoyed the mountains, picnics, painting, sewing, crocheting, and cooking, and was very proud of her Scottish heritage. Lorna was preceded in death by her parents Oscar Stephenson, and Delana and Paul Kindle; Husband William Robert Smith; Children: Moureen Adair Jokela, James Patrick Kelly, Jerome Kelly, and Joseph Kelly. She is survived by her brother Thomas Kindle of OR; daughter Juli Sansoucy of MA; grandchildren Lena Jokela of WA, Niles Jokela of WA, Sara Holmes of MA, and Abby Holmes of NJ; and great-grandchildren Davin and Kieran Jokela of WA. The Graveside service is Sat January 27, at 11 a.m. at the Cowlitz Mission Cemetery in Toledo, WA. Food will be provided after the service. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking a Donation in Lorna's name to one of these 3 ministries. She knew and loved each of them personally.
