Lexington - Carl Douglas Sauer, 71, husband of Linda Sauer, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2022. He was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA on January 14, 1951. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Sauer was predeceased by his parents Gloria Boyle and Carl Sauer. Besides his wife, he is survived by his brother Kurt Sauer, sister Colleen Garvey, bonus son, James Clough, granddaughter Catherine Goforth and her husband Cody, and his sister-in-law Sherri Davis and her wife Carmella Esarey. Visitation will be held at Pax Christi Catholic Church on January 7th from 10-11am. Mass will follow at 11am. Memorial contributions are suggested to The Michael J. Fox Foundation or St Jude's Childrens Hospital www.clarklegacycenter.com
