She was born on November 4, 1928 in Varpasjavi, Finland. In 1953 Leah moved to Levittown, PA from Finland and relocated to Venice in 1996. She is survived by her husband, Urpo of Venice; children David of Philadelphia, Susan and David Macrae of Nokomis, and Judy Uosikkinen of Philadelphia; grandchildren Sarah and Allison Macrae, Max and Kate Silverstein, and Sam Uosikkinen; great grandson Jackson Macrae-Scibelli; brother Aimo Vaisanen; and sister Kaisa Laitinen. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
