Versailles – Penny Jane Howard, 71, partner and companion 39 years of Marcia Atwell, passed away on February 8, 2023, at her home. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 26, 1951, to the Late James and Charlotte Crawford Howard. Survivors include her wife Marcia Atwell, step daughters, Faith (David) Wilmes, of Louisville, Bobbi Gail (Jason) Atwell-Franklin, of Lexington, and her grandson who was the light of her life who knew her as “Oma”, Davis Wilmes. In addition, she is survived by her sister Amy Howard, two brothers, Jeff Howard and Dave Howard, her stepmother Barbara Howard, her brother-in-law Mark Brown, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews that were all known as her favorites. A Gathering of Family and friends will take place Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 5 until 7pm at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing.
