John D. Barker, 64, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2023. He was born in Cincinatti, OH on October 8, 1958, to Wanda Neat Barker, and the late Murray Barker. Mr. Barker was a master electrician and was the owner of Future World Lighting. Mr. Barker enjoyed traveling, home projects, and had a passion for big bikes and fast cars. He adored his grandchildren and greatly appreciated the many occasions he spent with family. Besides his mother, Wanda, those left to cherish his memory include his son, Matthew (Ashley) Barker; daughter, Katrina (Nathan) Arroyo; sister, Kim Barker; brothers, Ron (Rhonda) Barker, Rick (Rita) Barker; grandchildren, Emerson, Eliza, and Ellis; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, Murray, he is preceded in death by his brother, Nick Barker. A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday, February 27, 2023, from 4-7PM at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing.
