Mary was a graduate of Lawrence High School in Falmouth, MA in 1942. She worked for New England Tel & Tel as a traffic clerk in Falmouth. She was also active with the Daughters of Isabella. Mary married Robert Noonan in October of 1946 in Woods Hole, MA. With Robert serving in the US Navy, they lived in many different places. When they lived in Morocco she was the President of the golf team. While in Morocco, the Commander of Naval Activities recognized her for Catholic Catechism teachings. They moved to Norfolk, VA, then moved to Omaha, NE where General Ryan gave her similar recognition for her Catholic Catechism teachings. Following Omaha, NE, Mary moved to Hawaii and then back to Falmouth where she assisted in the planning of their home church. They have lived in North Port for the last ten years. Survivors include her husband, Robert Noonan of North Port, FL; 5 nieces, and several grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, John J., James J., and Bernard P. Cavanaugh.
