George T. Biernat, 89, of Venice, a World War II Veteran passed away March 4, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Virginia, son, Robert Stenson, daughters, Cheryl Brinkman (Terry) and Lynn Stenson, grandchildren, Karen Thomas (Ryan), John Cagney and Laura Parisi (Matthew), great-grandchildren, James Cagney, Katelyn Parisi, Anna Parisi and Lucas Thomas and sister, Beatrice Matko. A Memorial Mass will be held at Epiphany Cathedral, March 26, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238. Farley Funeral Home in Venice is handling the arrangements.
