Peter Procyk, age 84, of Venice, Florida, passed away on January 29, 2010. He was born on July 12, 1925 in Ukraine. He was a retired superintendent for the tool & die department of the Ford Motor Company Chicago Heights Stamping Plant. He moved to Venice 10 years ago from Lansing, Illinois. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Elizabeth; three children, Anna (Walter) Schewciw of San Antonio, Texas, Patricia Procyk of Dyer, Indiana, Peter (Rae Jean) Procyk of Nokomis, Florida; three grandchildren, Sonya (David) Weed, Peter (Amanda) Procyk and Rebecca (Anthony) Henson. He also leaves behind four great-grandchildren, Brittney Weed, Emma Weed, Andre Guilmette and Athena Henson. A visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00PM on Monday, February 1, 2010 at Farley Funeral Home in North Port. A funeral service will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at Farley Funeral Home in North Port with entombment to follow at Venice Memorial Gardens. Farley Funeral Home in Venice is handling the arrangements.
