A Life Well-Lived: George Kennedy Engle of Lexington, KY With heartfelt respect, we celebrate the memorable life and many accomplishments of George Kennedy Engle, affectionately known as Ken or GK. He touched many lives with his strong character and warm heart. Ken passed away peacefully on June 28, 2023, in Lexington, KY at the age of 89. Born June 12, 1934 in Mt. Sterling, KY, he was the son of Marcus and Edna Triplett Engle. Ken's distinguished career led him to become president of Magna Graphic and hold numerous leadership roles that shaped the printing industry. His life is punctuated with accolades for his outstanding contributions to the community through committees, clubs, and boards, highlighting his dedication to service. Ken found solace and camaraderie on the greens, being passionate about sports, especially golf. He was a friendly and familiar face at many local clubs. Family played an integral role in Ken's personal life. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Lewis Engle, sons Greg (Claudia) Engle, Lexington and Tim (Leigh) Engle, Cincinnati, as well as his stepdaughters Bradley LeDoux, Birmingham, and Ashley (Tony) Munafo, Cincinnati, and cherished grandchildren Miles, Field and Hannah Engle, Elizabeth, Stephen and Henry LeDoux, Tee and Bennett Munafo. As we reflect on Ken Engle, we honor the thoughtful life he led and pay tribute to the lasting impressions he made on so many. A gathering of Family and Friends will be July 16, 4:00 to 6:00 at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing.
