Robert Charles Accetturo went home to be with his Savior Jesus Christ, surrounded by family and friends on September 16th, 2018 in Edmonds, WA at 76 years of age. Robert was born in Seattle, WA to Mike and Toni Accetturo. He graduated from Bishop Blanchet High School in 1960, and enlisted in the U.S. Navy serving three years at Sand Point Naval Base. After his service in the military Robert began a career in construction which included working on the Alaska Pipeline, managing the Monroe Quarry and then transitioning into the Public Sector where he held supervisory positions for Snohomish County, City of Marysville and City of Mukilteo, retiring at the age of 62. Robert and his wife Cynthia were active in their church and in the Edmonds community for many years. He enjoyed camping, fishing with his buddies, boating throughout the San Juan Islands and traveling locally, especially to Cannon Beach with Cynthia, and abroad with his family and friends. Robert is survived by his loving wife Cynthia; three sons Todd (Fabiola), Mario (Melinda), John (Aimee), daughter Leah Craig (Troy) and daughter-in-law Amy, 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, sisters Karina, Shelly, Lisa and brother Greg, and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Toni, and his sister Yvonne. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, September 30th at 2:00 pm at Community Christian Fellowship, 615 Glen Street, Edmonds, WA 98020.
