Cindy Carol Michael, 56, widow of David Michael, passed away Friday, October 6, 2023. She was born in Lexington, Kentucky on October 14, 1966, to Harold Caudill and the late Linda Whitson. Mrs. Michael had worked most of her life in healthcare as a CNA. Cindy was a spitfire who loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Cindy did not lose her battle because she never stopped fighting, no matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, she stayed strong. Through her we know what resilience truly looks like. Cindy loved playing candy crush, always enjoyed a good filet mignon and you’d never catch her without a pocket full of peppermints. Those left to cherish her memory includes her daughter, Robyn Helton; son, Derrick (Ashley Vickery) Weaver; sister, Lisa Caudill; brothers, Harold (Michelle) Caudill, James (Tonya) Caudill; and grandchildren, Kennedy, Rylee, Elenor, Haven, Jonah, Corben, and Lachlan. In addition to her husband, David Michael, and her mother, Linda Whitson, Mrs. Michael is preceded in death by her son, Dalton Weaver. A funeral service will be held Monday, October 16, 2023, at 11am at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing, with Jessie Baldridge officiating. Visitation will start 10 until the time of service. Graveside service will follow at 12:30 at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Nicholasville, KY. Serving as casket bearers include Harold Caudill, James Caudill, Nicolas Caudill, Bryen Williams, Haven Mctush, and Derrick Weaver.
