Harry Thomas “Woody” Wood, 72, of North Port, FL, died on November 14, 2009. Woody was born in Philadelphia, PA on October 3, 1937 and resided in Drexel Hill. He was a business owner and operator in the gasoline industry for 20 years in Narberth and Broomall, PA. He loved old movies, bowling, and chess. He also enjoyed working on his cars. In his later years he worked at CarQuest in Port Charlotte, FL, for approximately 10 years. Survivors include his wife, Carole Wood, of North Port, FL; daughters Debbie Wood of Port Charlotte, FL, Bonnie (Tom) Fusco of Parkersford, PA, and Lori (David) Hansen of North Port, FL; step-sons James Mullen of Tampa, FL and Scott Mullen; sister Betti Case of Glen Allen, VA; brother-in-law Paul Steiner of Aston, PA; 2 nieces; 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Woody was predeceased by his son, Steven Wood, and by his step-son, Robert Mullen. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 20, 2009 at 2PM at Berean Baptist Church in Port Charlotte, FL. Farley Funeral Home is handling arrangements
