Jill Haines, 55, of Venice, FL passed away Friday, September 18, 2009 at Tidewell Hospice in Sarasota. Born in Huntington, WV, she was the daughter of the late Harold G. Robbins and the late Marjorie Sue Sayre Rettig. Jill lived most of her life in Venice and graduated from Venice High School. She worked for Venice Regional Hospital for many years and most recently worked for Coast Dermatology in Venice for over ten years. She was an advocate for the Susan G. Komen Cancer Foundation and women battling cancer worldwide. She loved spending time with her family and friends, cooking, being outdoors, and traveling. Surviving her are a son, Christopher Haines, of Atlanta, GA and a daughter, Jennifer Haines, of North Port, FL.
