Richard M. Williamson, 75, of Venice, FL died on September 5, 2009. Richard was born in Rochester, NY on July 16, 1934 and moved to Venice in 1980. Richard worked in the automotive industry for 35 years and retired in 1996. He is a veteran of the United States Navy and was a member of the Senior League Softball of Venice. Richard also attended the Evangelical Covenant Church of Bay Indies. Richard is survived by his wife, Patricia Williamson, of Venice, FL; daughter Barbara (Tom) Lucas of Sarasota, FL; son Leonard Watt of Rochester, NY; son Timothy Watt of Venice, FL; daughter Cynthia Phillips of Conesus, NY; son G. Peter (Melissa) Watt of Buford, GA; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
