Fred C. Edwing, 78, of Englewood, Florida passed away Friday August 28, 2009. Mr. Edwing was born August 12, 1931 in Jersey City, New Jersey. He moved to Englewood, Florida 6 years ago coming from Old Tappan, New Jersey. Mr. Edwing was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in the Korean War. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Jo-Anne E. Edwing of Englewood, Florida; his children, Richard (Janice) Edwing of Darnestown, Maryland, Beverly (Robert) Goldie of Dublin, Ohio; Eric (Lisa) Edwing of Englewood, Florida; his sisters, Marilyn Ohngemach and Helen Mielo both of Virginia; a brother, Don Edwing of Florida; and eight grandchildren. Private memorial service was held in Venice, Florida on September 1, 2009.
