Violet Tillie Troop, 97, of Englewood, formerly of Belleville, Onterio, Canada, and Detroit, Mich., died Aug. 10, 2009. Survivors include a son, Joe R. Joity. She is also survived by grandchildren Debra Lynn Broadway, Karen Lee Mattingly, Cynthia Ann Bastien, Denise Marie Shirley and Darlene Mae Miller; great-grandchildren Lauren Michael Broadway, Michelle Lee Obirek, Jordan Elizabeth Bader, Ja-el Alexandra Bader, Alan Glenn Shirley Jr., Kaela Nicole Miller and Tara Renee Miller; and great-great-grandchildren Aldyn Michael Craft, Sheridyn Nikole Craft and Nolan Nicholas Obirek. Mrs. Troop is predeceased by her husband, Arthur B. Troop; a son, Michael R. Joity; brothers Michael Lisull and Charles Lisull; and sisters Olga Newton, Helen Coyle Augustine and Edna Lisull.
