Melania L. Barabash, 93, of Warm Mineral Springs, Florida passed away Monday July 27, 2009. Mrs. Barabash was born November 6, 1915 in Itaipolis, Brazil to Pedro and Ladislava Komuchena. She moved to Warm Mineral Springs 28 years ago coming from Hartford, CT. Mrs. Barabash was a hairdresser in Hartford and in Punta Gorda, FL; and a member of St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, North Port. Survivors include her sons, Waldemiro Barabasz of Warm Mineral Springs; Clement Barabash of San Francisco, CA; Igor Barabash of Raleigh, NC; granddaughter, Marissa Joy Barabash; sisters, Acassia, Amelia and Julia Rosalia all of Brazil; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Taras.
